The Small Animal Ark - Events

Throughout the year we will be running various events and activities to raise vital funds for the Small Animal Ark to allow us to continue with our much needed work in the area. There are also others who are running events that are raising funds that are helping us so please try to support these if you can and come along and give generously! Thankyou! Our Events Summer Fete / Jumble Sale - 13th June 2009 To celebrate the first birthday of the Small Animal Ark, we are holding our second fete / jumble sale which will be taking place on Saturday 13th June 2009. It will be taking place at the Halfpenny Hall, George Lane, Lichfield which is right in the City Centre. It starts at approximately 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and will have a variety of stalls including books, toys and games, clothes, miscellaneous, bric-a-brac, refreshments, face painting, a tombola, and loads more. If you want to donate any items or get involved in any way, please get in touch. Other Events Auto Assembly 2009 Auto Assembly is a Transformers convention that takes place every year in Birmingham and this year's event is taking place on 15th - 16th August. There will be desk with information about the Ark and it's work and various collections will be taking place all weekend. Last year the convention raised about £150 for the Ark and is hoping to raise even more this year. You can find out more about the convention here.
