Website Feedback

We're starting to get some really positive feedback on the website from many people who have visited it, and from some of the organisations we are working with. We thought we'd take the opportunity to share some of them with you here... One thing we have done is split the remarks up into reviews and comments from our partner organisations, along with a separate section for comments from our visitors.

If you want to add your own comments about this site, click on the feeback button at the bottom of this page.

Reviews/Partners

Paul Carrington, Vulcan Software

The Vulcan Portal has had a review by Infinite Frontiers. They have an uncanny talent for getting the information across, in a way that you can understand. If only our own Portal's website could do the same! Laugh. Web page link provided to their articulate review. Live Long & Prosper!

Ben Ling, www.mrchimpy.co.uk

On their homepage, you are bewildered by choice. There is well over 20 main sections to the site, and each one then has several sub-sections which is filled by content, which grows almost by the day. the sheer diversity on this website is impressive, with everything from Sci-Fi to Computers and Games to more serious issues like Disabled Life. All the reviews and articles on the site, are written to a high degree, and are all edited before being put online.

It is rare that you actually find a site with a committed team that regularly update, and this site just so happens to be one of them lucky few. They take reviews/articles from anyone and are perfectly happy to put them on the site for you, which is great, as it gives everyone a chance to chip in.

Another thing that you wouldnt normally pick up on, is the fact that this website is compatible with almost anything, and I don't just mean IE and Netscape... Seeing as it only uses simple HTML and no JAVA, Flash, advanced coding languages, etc, it works on PCs, Macintosh's, and will even work on some Amigas and Commodores! The whole site is built on compatibility. As it contains articles on the older versions of computers, the site wants them users to actually be able to read them. Many people will argue that the site isnt fancy, or doesn't have much of a design, and to be honest, I agree with them. There may not be a fancy looking design to the site, but a plain, simple layout (which they have) works best in this instance - why do extra work, when it's easy and looks good as it is?

This site is great - it is incredibly diverse, and has so much to read. It is compatible for pretty much everyone, and I mean everyone! It provides just great content again and again. Unlike most sites around it is overflowing with content, and needs people's support to keep it growing. DEFINITELY worth a look, but make sure you have a few hours spare to see it all!
