RePlay! - Game Reviews Revisited

We have been steadily increasing our game review content on the site for some time. However, we appreciate that not everyone has the same taste in games and while some people may love a particular game, others may not. As such, we have decided to start a new scheme with our reviews... RePlay!

The RePlay! concept is fairly simple. Each time a game is reviewed on the site - whether it is by our own in-house writers or by someone else - that review will become the primary review for the site. If a visitor to the site (or even one of our own team!) has a different opinion, or just has something else they would like to add, then they can submit their own review to us for inclusion on the site.

These reviews will be listed on the appropriate menu under the main game review on the site and will be clearly indicated as a RePlay! review. We will keep these to a maximum of two additional reviews per game, but it will help give you a better idea of what a game is like and will give you a more balanced view of a title.

The RePlay! reviews will be identical in format to our regular reviews, and will be accompanied by screenshots with a closing review score. The only difference will be the inclusion of the RePlay! logo at the top of the review. The review scores will be listed in our score tables on the site, but will be clearly identified as RePlay! reviews so we don't confuse matters by appearing to have two scores for the same review!

The RePlay! system will apply to any game on any format - old or new - so if you have something to say about a game we've already covered, please feel free to submit your reviews to us for inclusion on the site. We will also be looking at adding reviews for applications and other products as well over time.

The first few of these reviews will be appearing on the site shortly, including a second look at Star Wars: Rogue Leader for the Gamecube and possibly a couple of other titles...
