Downloads - Unofficial Sources
After searching the net for a long time, it is coming to our attention that there are a great many web sites offering some of our older Amiga titles for download for use with Amiga emulators on the PC. We must stress that we have not authorised ANY of these files on any sites other than our own and that these are to be used at your own risk and we will not provide technical support to anyone obtaining files this way.
It is certainly not our intention to stop people from seeing and using software from our Amiga archives, but we feel that it is better that all the files have come from an official source rather than from people who do not have access to the original master disks and who cannot repair faults on their files.
As we can, we will be converting our entire Amiga collection and making it available to download freely from this site over time and each file will be thoroughly tested before we make it available, along with providing full installation notes and instructions and detailing any known bugs.
Every piece of software in our range (of almost 100 Amiga disks!), will be presented both in DMS format for Amiga users, and as ADF files for those of you running Amiga emulators, but it will take us some time to convert and test them so please be patient.
One thing we will say about our Amiga archive is that, because of the graphics modes used, almost all of our slideshow disks will NOT work on the PC under emulation. Instead, we will convert these to PC slideshows and PC screensavers so again, please bear with us while we do this. We don't know if we will convert these to any other platforms such as the Mac, but this will all depend on what the demand is and whether or not we can find someone to help with their conversion!!
In addition, the entire collection of these files will appear on our forthcoming CD-ROMs (we will only have a small number of products free to download at any one time because of storage space).
We hope you will find the wait worth while, and if you know of anywhere distributing our files, please let us know so we can ensure that the only copies of our work that is in circulation is of the best quality possible.
Also, if you know of any web sites who are interested in hosting these files for us, we'd love to hear from them so they can have an official library of our Amiga back catalogue.
